SMEs. Putra Mandiri Furniture is a manufacturing SME that produces
Wooden chairs located in Jambi. The problem faced by the company is
The company does not have good material planning, which is often
the arrangement and planning of raw materials is not well organized,
especially for scheduling the use of raw materials. In this research the data
used are production data, orders and material inventory data for each
component. To overcome existing problems, an approach is taken
qualitative using the Material Requirement Planning method.
The results of the MRP calculation concluded that the total net requirements
required to produce 11,500 units of wooden chairs for 12 weeks (3 months)
planning period, namely: wood (K11) totaling 81,050 units, leg assemblies, crossbars
middle and upper parts (K111, K11112, K11121) each amounting to 17,550
units, front legs (K1111) and rear legs (K11111) totaling 25,150 units,
supports (K1112) totaling 41,050 units, backrest boards and seat cushions
(K11122,K112) as much as 21,550, polish (K12) as much as 350,500 grams, nails
(K13) as much as 155,000 grams, screw (K14) as much as 105,000 grams
