Abstract :
Web hosting is a hosting service that provides a data storage server to place Web sites where public access can be connected to the internet from Personal Computers PCs all over the world, allowing other users to access the data anywhere at the same time , web hosting services provide web hosting packages with various applications, such as Hypertext Transfer Protocol HTTP server for website services, File Transfer Protocol FTP server for file transmission uploading and downloading, email server to be able to perform a function email reception, domain name server DNS, a database server. Hosting is also divided into two, namely Paid Hosting where hosting customers are charged for the package and the facilities provided in accordance with their choice, while Free Hosting where Hosting customers are not charged at all for the package and facilities used. Decision Support System DSS uses the Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique SMART method with five predetermined criteria namely price, performance, additional review, technical support, and additional features. DSS application created was tested by comparing the manual calculations. Based on the data tested as many as 32 Web Hosting results obtained values of more than 70, in other words 32 Web Hosting is included in the feasible recommendation.
