Abstract :
In the learning process, there is a communication process that takes place in
a system, and in it there is learning media as a component of the learning system.
Using media in the learning process must be based on true philosophical or
theoretical reasons. Learning media to calculate the circumference of a flat plane
based on a desktop is designed as a learning medium for fourth grade elementary
school students in calculating the circumference of a flat plane in the form of a

sources used are primary and secondary data from Thematic books seven and

application using a questionnaire with correspondence of 17 users with a success
