Abstract :
The need for a fast internet today needs to be supported by a reliable infrastructure. The use of fiber optic cables is intended to fullfill these needs. In fact, fiber optic cables need special handling because these cables was made from glass. At PT. Telkom Akses Area Solo Jawa Tengah, one of improvements which is the mating a cord with the fusion method which produces small damping. In addition, the preparation and safety factors need to be considered to minimize errors repair.
