Abstract :
Nitrogen Generated System is a new system that is only embedded in
Boeing aircraft manufacturers starting from the 737 NG series. The Nitrogen
Generated System serves to select bleed air air to be the only remaining nitrogen,
to break the fire triangle that caused the explosion in the center tank. Nitrogen
Generated System has a filter component that serves to filter bleed air. Damage to
the filter component is marked by the operability indicator lights that turn blue.
To overcome the damage to the filter then carried out troubleshooting on
the Nitrogen Generated System. Implementation includes a Bite Display Unit Test,
a review of the fault history air separation module, a differential pressure switch
check filter, and a replacement filter element to find out which parts are damaged.
After checking, it will be known the problem that occurs in the form of
filter elements that are blocked by FOD and carried out the replacement of parts
with reference Aircraft Maintenance Manual. Replacement that has been carried
out will change the operability indicator lights back to green.
