Abstract :
Each aircraft has a control area which is usually called flight control, both
old and modern aircraft. Flight control is a system on an airplane that is used for
aircraft control systems, which can make it easier for pilots to control the entire
fuselage, when the pilot is about to take off and when he is about to landing.
The method used in this research is a qualitative case study method. The
data collection technique was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and
study of documentation obtained during the implementation of the field work
practice program at PT. Mulya Sejahtera Technologi Bandung from December
2019 to January 2020.
After checking the aileron control wheel play, a failure was found, namely
in the form of excessive movement which resulted in the aileron not moving
according to the specified degree AMM 27-11-00. Possible causes of failure in
control wheel play are loose AA and AB cables, loose, worn, or damaged Control
Wheel Drum, ACBA and ACBB Control Bus Cable loose or broken, Transfer
Mechanism Components are loose, worn, or damaged.
