Abstract :
Aviation safety and security factors in aircraft must get very important
attention from all parties in the aviation industry. Therefore, aircraft maintenance
and repair activities are urgently needed to maintain the safety of its passengers
and enable the aircraft to operate properly during take off and landing.
The method used in this study is to use several general checks, to find the
origin of the source of the problem in the hydraulic system, internal and external
leakage checks are carried out. Internal check in the form of distribution
hydraulic system inspection and external check in the form of detailed visual
inspection.
From the results of the Troubelshooting that has been carried out on the
hydraulic system reservoir A, the cause of the leak is that the component parts in
the reservoir have aged precisely on the packing seal in the drain valve section,
so that the packing seal cannot hold the reservoir pressurization (pressing the
fluid in the reservoir using bleed water). After maintenance, system A hydraulic
reservoir returns to normal.
