Abstract :
A flight must be planned, planning routes either flying, flight altitude
planning, flight time, flight payload and aircraft fuel calculation. Yogyakarta
International Airport is a new airport that has a development target capable of
operating large bodied aircraft to improve connectivity and develop aviation
infrastructure.
The purpose of this study is the planning of international flight operations
from Yogyakarta to Perth (Australia) using Boeing B777-300ER aircraft. Boeing
B777-300ER has been operated by many airlines, one of which is in Indonesia,
Garuda Indonesia. Flight planning analysis is carried out in stages starting from
calculating takeoff weight, flight distance, estimated time, allowed load and
estimated fuel burn, using manual fppm calculation method, interpolation formula
and online flight plan database and skyvector applications.
From the results of the analysis it was found that flight planning variables
that can affect flight performance are runway conditions, air temperature, and wind
conditions.
