Abstract :
Standard international passenger handling time has an important influence in
operational activities, not achieving a good standard of service time can cause a
delay in passenger movements and disrupt the comfort of passengers and can
increase the cost of flight operators, to avoid this it is necessary to calculate the
rate of service in order to determine the solution that can be done to overcome the
delay in passenger movement. the role of the Ministry of Religion and the
agencies related to the handling of service time must refer to the Standard
Operating Procedure (SOP).
`Observation and interview methods are used to determine primary data,
primary data is quantitative sampling data which is processed using a queue
calculation method in mathematical calculations so that it becomes qualitative
data to determine the service quality of passenger handling time.
Delays occur because of the service capacity of arrival terminal agencies
that do not meet the minimum service time standards, namely waiting for less than
15 minutes for immigration and 20 minutes for customs, the time to wait for
immigration is only 57 passengers of maximum 180 passenger capacity, and for
Customs only 54 passengers were reached from a maximum capacity of 180, to
meet the required standard of 4 counters.
