Abstract :
Delay arrival of aircraft because the holding causes losses that can hinder
the development of the company because the flight cost planning when in the air
will increase the amount of the budget that has been planned by the airline company
that is increased fuel costs. This study aims to determine the level of attainment of
on time performance arrival of NAM Air district Yogyakarta, find out the number
of aircraft delaying holding, and find out the effect of arrival delay due to the
holding of additional fuel consumption costs.
The method used in this research is quantitative analysis method.
Calculation of delay is to find out the level of achievement of on time performance
and calculation of the additional cost of fuel consumption when holding to
determine the effect of the arrival delay due to the holding of the additional costs
of fuel consumption.
The results of the study revealed that the achievement of on time
performance arrival of NAM Air district Yogyakarta airlines was 60.44% with a
percentage delay of 30.10% and a holding percentage of 9.46%. The effect of flight
arrival delay is due to the holding of additional fuel consumption costs for the NAM
Air district of Yogyakarta, which is the more flight delay due to holding or holding
time, the greater the additional cost of fuel consumption when holding or holding
costs. So that in the period 1-31 December 2017 the NAM Air district Yogyakarta
airline experienced a delay in the arrival of aircraft because the holding of 12 flight,
the additional cost of fuel consumption was when the holding or holding cost was
Rp 315.156.400,-.
