Abstract :
Maintenance is an activity carried out to ensure the utility of an aircraft
remains in an airworthy condition, so that the utility of an efficient airplane in
conducting maintenance must be planned so that aircraft maintenance activities
can run effectively and efficiently. TAT planning is an important part of the aircraft
maintenance process so that the bidder's utility can run effectively and efficiently.
In addition to TAT planning, what needs to be done is planning tools and materials
to ensure there are no problems with the availability of materials and tools that can
affect the TAT of the aircraft.
The process of determining TAT is by grouping jobs according to the
existing access panel zone, then dividing each man hours of work with the required
man power and getting hours from the work, after that multiplying determines the
EWH of each zone that has been grouped by multiplying 2 for each job, after getting
ewh then compiled CPM in accordance with the order of work and obtained the
critical path which is the TAT of the treatment. For material, the BOM method is
used by referring to each task card, then added to find out the amount needed for
each pn material. For planning tools refer to the existing CPM groups so that the
overall tool needs are met.
The number of TATs submitted by customers is 13 calendar days, whereas
in planning with the CPM method the TAT can shrink by 12 calendar days with the
critical path being on the ABC-C1-C2-C3-C4-C4-C5-C6-C7-C8-H path , while the
number of material part numbers needed is 108, and for tools as many as 104 part
number.
