Abstract :
Propeller or commonly called a propeller which is part of the Propulsion which is used
to produce thrust (thrust) to go through the air. As it is known, airplanes can fly
because the wings on an airplane in the shape of an airfoil will produce lift. From the
principle of aerodynamics, the propeller is considered like a small rotating wing.
Propellers are divided into two types: fixed pitch propeller (FPP), that is, propellers
with fixed pitch angles and can not be adjusted at a rotating angle, and controllable
pitch propellers (CPP), ie propellers are designed so that the propeller pitch angle can
be adjusted even though the propeller is in a rotating state .
In design there are 3 stages, namely the determination of geometry, 3D modeling, and
achievement analysis. Performance analysis using Ansys software with variations of
two forms of propeller, namely straight propeller and oval propeller
Determine the shape and type of propeller for quadcopter uav-sprayer aircraft and
calculate the achievement value of each propeller to get the right propeller for the
aircraft. From the results of the analysis carried out the appropriate propeller form is
the type of fixed pitch with oval shape and the ratio between straight and oval is 0.38%
