Abstract :
Research about UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) already implemented by Adisutjipto College of Technology, Yogyakarta. One of the developed planes is PUNA AD-01, that has been discussed by one of Adisutjipto Collage of Technology?s students about initial design of PUNA AD-01. Therefore, this research will discuss about the manufacture of PUNA AD-01, which is intended to pick the plane construction material, analyze the wings structure, and the manufacture processes. Manufacture methods that used for the PUNA AD-01 plane construction are including manually cutting that using several tools such us saw, cutter, and so forth. For the joining methods are including adhesive bonding, bolt connection, and assembly process. And 3D printing method, hand lay up, and vacuum bag are used for the composite construction. The main materials that is used for manufacture are including composite, balsa wood, and carbon. The results of structural analysis on the PUNA AD-01 aircraft wings obtained MS core wing values at cruising conditions of 2.0237 and carbon MS at cruising conditions at 23.08, whereas at turning conditions the wing MS core cores at 0.904 and the MS carbon at 11.04. The manufacture processes of PUNA AD-01 are started from wings construction that consists of the establishment of the ribs, the frame of the wings, the construction of aileron control surface, the wing tip, and wings covering. And it was continued with the construction of fuselage, that consists of establishment of master molding, production of the molding, production of the fuselage, the landing sky, and the wings holder. And then it was continued with the construction of the tail, that consists of the installation from tailboom to fuselage. The establishment of vertical and horizontal stabilizer, production of elevator and rudder control surface, the holder of the tail, and ended with assembly.
