Abstract :
The design of a hydraulic power pack engine is carried out for the process of
opening and closing the turbine valve that is in accordance with the operational
requirements of the turbine. Therefore, researchers have the idea of designing a
hydraulic engine that fits to those conditions. During the planning process, analysis
was done based on the workload of the turbine valve, then the force needed for the
process of opening and closing the turbine valve were obtained. The magnitude of the
force for opening and closing the turbine valve at this flow was 325,24 N.
In order to obtain this force, several other supporting variables are needed with
the following specification: motor power 35 KW, tank volume 0.12 m3, pump
pressure 44.4 Bar with a pump capacity was 37.5 liter/minutes and the size of the
inlet pipe having an outer diameter was 42.00 mm, the inner diameter was 36.2 mm
and the pipe thickness was 3,0 mm. The inner diameter for the pressure duck pipe
was 14.5 mm, the outer diameter was 28 mm and the pipe thickness was 1.5 mm.
Meanwhile, the return pipe had an inner diameter for 22.8 mm, the outer diameter
was 16 mm and the thickness was 3 mm
