Abstract :
Energy is one of the main needs for people. Based on primary energy
consumption data for the past ten years from 2003 to 2013 it is known that the
amount of all types of energy increased except for nuclear energy which has a
declining trend so that solutions are needed to reduce undesirable results. Based
on Kamali (2014) buildings entire the world consume 40% world main energy. 15%
of this 40% consumption is used for heating and cooling system. Therfore, it is
necessary to do a deeper analysis of the cooling and heating system to minimize
energy consumption in buildings.
The object of research is Gereja Kristen Jawa ?Sumber Agung? where
the method used in this study is the Cooling Load Temperature Difference. The
value of the cooling load obtained from research conducted during Public Worship
is 21114,079 KCal/h equivalent to 10 PK, during Teenage Worship is 12533,369
KCal/h equivalent to 6 PK, and at the time of Children Worship is 12084,769
KCal/h equivalent to 6 PK.
