Abstract :
In the computer lab of an agency, many computer peripherals are connected to the network, which affects the growing requirements of the network in this case, the use of bandwidth. Thus, administrators need a lot of time to manage networks such as monitoring and management, for example on Cisco Catalyst 3750 devices. This requires the administrator to be in the same location as the managed network device. Therefore, a system capable of monitoring the network remotely is needed. The ethernet interface monitoring system works in real time and overcomes the growing use of computer networks. The Ethernet Interface Monitoring System implements port security on computer network systems that function as computer network security systems to reduce network usage outside of registered or authorized computing devices. The ethernet-based ethernet interface monitoring system will be used for monitoring and managing Cisco Catalyst 3750 devices using API. The test results show that the application can make it easier for administrators to manage the network because all functions or commands in the ethernet interface monitoring system are identical to those on the command line. In addition, the ethernet interface monitoring application can run responsibly on the browser of a personal computer and a smartphone.
