Abstract :
This research discusses the design and application of website-based
software on a military aircraft engine train, Bravo Aircraft with AS202 series.
With this spftware, it can be used to determine the symptoms of failure in aircraft
engines outside maintenance (Inspection) using the Backward Chaining
approach, to determine a fact that supports these hypotheses, the existing
approach is expected to be able to identify any failure to the Bravo AS202.
Commercial of military aircraft accident have cause many casualties, besides
providing many losses for all parties. Military aircraft accidents that have
occurred so far have always been linked to many factors such as : human, error,
climate and engine failure. In reducing the risk of failure to millitary aircraft,
aircraft maintenance is needed. In this study produced a wabsite-based
application that functions as an engine failure identification system using
Backward Chaining which facilitates technicians in finding failure information on
Bravo AS202 aircraft engines
