Abstract :
Osi Island is known as a leading tourist destination in West Seram Regency. The
name Osi Island is now experiencing an expansion of meaning which refers to the
surrounding islands. Osi Island landscape management is currently carried out
independently by the people who inhabit Osi Island, which is one hundred percent
ethnic Buton. The ecosystem on Osi Island consists of mangroves, seagrass beds
and rocky beaches. Problems found on Osi Island include two resorts standing on
seagrass beds, damage to mangrove ecosystems, accessibility to difficult welcome
areas, lack of tourist attractions, and lack of hardscapes to support tourism
activities.
