Abstract :
Turbojet is an engine that is still widely used in aircraft. This animation
shows the performance of the SPEY Mk engine. 555-15, shows the change in air
temperature pressure on the turbojet indicated by a change in the color of the
combustion chamber and changes in the acceleration of the compressor. In the
animation SPEY Mk engine performance. 555-15 using calculations with Throttle
input produces output in the form of Thrust, SFC, N1 and N2 values where the
output is the result of manual calculations entered by the system in order to
simplify the calculation. In making this animation there are several processes,
namely making turbojet modeling using Blender, then proceed with the animation
process using Unity. Based on the black box test results it was found that the
SPEY Mk Engine Performance Animation. 555-15 On Turbojet Engine it can run
on Windows 7 (64 bit) Windows 8 (64 bit) and Windows 10 (64 bit) operating
systems. And expert tests get the results that this animation can assist lecturers in
delivering lecture material, informative, easy to understand and the input and
output are appropriate. From the calculation of Throttle input, the output of
Thrust, N1 and N2 will also increase, but the Specific Fuel Consumption (SFC)
value will decrease.
