Abstract :
PT. Dirgantara Indonesia (IAe) is one of the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) places for CN-235-100 aircraft. Problems in maintenance can result in work completion times and scheduling that do not match the time specified in the initial plan, so that the time of handover of work to the customer is delayed. This study aims to find activities on the critical path of the 3600 flight hours avionic electrical instrument periodic maintenance project for the CN-235-100 aircraft and to determine the optimal duration for completing the assembly. The methods used are CPM (Critical Path Method) and PERT (Project Evaluation and Review Technique). CPM is a time-oriented method that leads to determining the schedule and the time estimate is deterministic/certain while PERT is a time-oriented method that leads to determining the schedule and the time is probabilistic. The results of the study indicate that critical activities in the implementation of periodic maintenance of avionic electrical instruments of CN-235-100 aircraft at PT Dirgantara Indonesia with a CPM maintenance plan are 20 hours while the PERT time is 21.44 hours and the real maintenance conditions are 27.9 hours with 12 critical activities covering 42 periodic maintenance activities AEI (Avionic Electrical Instrument). For real conditions, it can be achieved in 27.9 hours or 3 days 3.9 working hours, while the PERT plan (proposal) has a 99.98% chance of completing periodic maintenance of 3600 flight hours of avionic electrical instruments of CN-235-100 aircraft can be achieved in 21.44 hours or 2 days 5.44 hours.
