Abstract :
Aircraft maintenance is very important. The success rate of maintenance is highly dependent on maintenance planning. Maintenance planning using a work network is one way to make maintenance effective and efficient and to assist in project management, SWOT analysis is used. The creation of a work network using the CPM (critical path) method, this method is intended to make a large schedule on a large project into a smaller schedule. In the work network there is a critical path, namely a path that must not be delayed in implementing activities because it can cause delays in the completion of the entire project.
PT. IAS's planning for the 1-year inspection project for the BAe 146-100/PK TNV aircraft was carried out by 15 people with an estimated work period of 28 working days.
Planning using a work network, the critical path is obtained, namely
A - B1 -B2 - B3 - B4 - B5 - B6 which is path 1. The total time for project completion using the CPM (critical path method) is 111,712 or +/- 19 working days. Work effectiveness in various ways including
adding workers, moving workers from line 2 to line 1 and
optimizing working hours. After the calculation, a SWOT analysis is applied.
