Abstract :
Manhours are the time needed to do a job where the time is a reference to
be able to carry out a job. Therefore, planning in determining manhours plan is
needed so that the work is carried out in a timely manner in completion.
Manhours planning is an important factor for a planner in making details of the
activities that will be carried out in an airplane repair.
The multiplier factor is the unit value used by the planner in finding the
manhours plan used in the construction of an aircraft, in this case the Aiburs
A330-341 type. This research is looking for a new multiplier that can be used to
reduce the time of the TAT value from 9 days to 7 days, using the linear
programming method.
Linear programming is used to be able to find the derivative value of the
multiplier that has been determined by the previous planner to be able to create a
new multiplier factor value in making a manhours plan. In the results of this
study, the TAT decreased value of 22.222%.
