Abstract :
In this aerospace world there is a wide range of activities that are
incorporated in it either the job field or just a hobby in the aerospace sports world.
Paratrike is one of the aerospace sports which is under the auspices of FASI. This
paratrike has many missions, one of which is air imaging missions. Preparation of
this thesis to create a paratrike with air imaging missions, in addition described the
production process and performance of this paratrike fly.
In the production process is done gondola model design using catia software
to simplify the manufacturing process. The determination of the center of gravity of
the gondola is done by experimenting, by hanging the gondola with a rope and
putting all the systems in a predetermined position. The production process of making
this paratrike remote control using balsa wood and brushless turnigy engine D3536 /
1000kv. The analysis of flying achievement was done on steady-level flight
conditions, using the Brequet theory that has been adapted to the calculation of
distance range and long flight analysis.
Flight performance test performed on the remote control of this paratrike ±
400 meter range wit 1.50 minutes flight time with 6% battery usage from battery
initial condition in full state. While the theoretical calculation using the equation
result of endurance 0.1138 hours and the range of 7.850 km
