Abstract :
Brake Assy Reliability on G 120 TP-A Grob Aircraft owned by
The Indonesian Air Force uses the Rolls Royce M-250/B17F series engine
operates as a turboprop. Where the G 120 TP-A Grob aircraft is
one of the training aircraft operated since 2013 by the Indonesian Air Force
which is used as a Basic Training and Advanced Training aircraft. Therefore,
So there is a need for research and evaluation of the level of aircraft reliability
during operation, especially the Brake Assy component which is most frequently used
experienced failure.
The method for analyzing the reliability of Brake Assy components is by
using the Weibull distribution method. The first step to take is
collect damage data, then carry out calculations
with the aim of knowing the failure rate, failure rate, and
maintenance effectiveness of the system to be analyzed.
From the results of the analysis of the reliability calculations of the Brake Assy components on
G 120 TP-A Grob aircraft can be seen that the average of these components
will function until failure at 418 hours 57 minutes and
the best maintenance effectiveness for degraded brake assembly components
gradual with a value (?) > 1 (1.723993992) is a type of wear failure
(wear out). The level of reliability of brake assembly components has decreased
As the hours of use increase, the effectiveness of the treatment carried out will increase
is preventive maintenance.
