Abstract :
Airline service as a provider of air transport is now beginning to attract
many residents in Indonesia. Passengers as airline users often experience
complaints. This complaint was sent in the form of a message to the airline. The
messages sent by passengers are categorized as the safety or service of airlines.
In determining the classification of messages using the KNN (K-Nearest
Neighbour) method to find out a message included in the safety classification or
service by comparing the value of the proximity of the new case to the old case or
the sample.
Based on the analysis of message classification system using KNN (K-
Nearest Neighbour) method can help in determining the result of a message to
safety classification or service classification. This message classification
application gives a less accurate end result because of the limited attributes in the
previous sample
