Abstract :
Merpati Nusantara Airlines is one of the largest airlines in Indonesia that
has been established since September 6, 1962. Many systems in this airline that still
use the system manually or not computerized so that tends to cause the risk of a very
big mistake and fatal. One of them is the manual calculation in the determination of
loading on MA-60 aircraft which required precision and drain the time that much in
the process. So it is necessary a system that is able to help the airlines in the
determination of cargo to create equilibrium on the MA-60 aircraft. In this study the
results of the calculation system that has been created has been compared with the
results of calculations manually and get the difference in the percentage of MAC (%
MAC) of 0.1% to 2%. A value of 0.1 to 3% is stated within the tolerance limit of
Mean Aerodynamical Chord on MA-60 aircraft.
From the calculations that have been done, Analytical Hierarchy Process
(AHP) method can not be used in this equilibrium calculation because it will produce
a much different output with the purpose of calculating equilibrium and determining
the feasibility of flying. For the calculation using AHP method, the value of
consistency ratio is <0.1, ie -0.69 with the value of consistency ratio of each
alternative below 10% (<0.1), ie 0 which means consistent in the calculation
