Abstract :
Yogyakarta is a province that has many cafes with rapid growth. But from the cafes there is constrained the dissemination of existing information. One of the most developed methods of computing today to help disseminate information is the Decision Support System. In general, information technology will be very useful in the presentation of information quickly, easily and accurately that is needed by tourists. In this research will be discussed about the selection of favorite cafe in Yogyakarta municipality that is accurate for tourists by using decision-making system with Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique method (SMART), in this thesis the writer take 4 criteria as supporting of Decisions Support System calculation that is visitor, distance, cost and age. The Decisions Support System application created has various features such as calculating the ranking value of each cafe location, location information and other supporting information. In this study produce an android application that serves as a supporter in decision making a visitor who will determine the cafe of choice. With accurate calculation result with difference calculation 0,04. Applications that are made to run on android version 4.0.3 of ice cream sandwich or above.
