Abstract :
Electronic ID card (e-KTP) in Indonesia is an identity card that has a
chip in which there is a person's personal data. Near Field Communication
(NFC) as an e-KTP connector with an Android Smartphone to obtain data in the
form of chip id used as primary attendance. Chip id is obtained from e-KTP and
is managed on a system to differentiate between students from one another, the
data is stored in the database and returned again to be displayed on the
Smartphone. In reading e-KTP utilizing NFC results of experiments that have
been tested that ordinary KTP cannot be read because ordinary KTP does not
have a chip, so from the results of the experiment the normal KTP is invalid.
While the results of the experiment using e-KTP can be read well and valid.
Because e-KTP has a chip that can be read by NFC hardware on an Android
smartphone and valid experimental results in the form of chip id and name stored
in the web database
