Abstract :
In the engineering world, reliability is usually done to evaluate the performance of a system and evaluate the performance of maintenance that has been done. Due to frequent failures in the field, this reliability analysis is becoming increasingly important and must be done to ensure the performance of the system. The analysis process of this reliability is in the form of system failure analysis, failure rate analysis, and maintenance effectiveness analysis carried out on the braking system. This study was conducted on the G-120 TP-A braking system and is based on failures that often occur in the system during operation, such as failures in the braking system and failures that occur due to component age (component over limit). This research method is mostly based on the Weibull Distribution, the results of which are to determine the failure rate and availability of the existing braking system. The conclusion of this study is that the failure rate value (?) > 1, so the system will experience failure over time, and the availability of this braking system always decreases over time.
