Abstract :
Nowadays, much plastic waste becomes environmental problems. On the
other hand, plastic waste contains components that can be processed into alternative
energy. The purpose of this research was the waste management of plastic PET into
paste filler batteries in the mixture of used carbon from batteries added by sea water.
The PET plastic charcoal was refined and then mixed with the used battery
carbon. The mixture were 65 gr PET with 35 gr used battery carbon, 60 gr PET with
40 gr used battery carbon, 55 gr PET with 45 gr used battery carbon and 50 gr PET
with 50 gr used battery carbon. All mixture was combined with the sea water as 45.2
gr, 56.5 gr, and 67.8 gr. The mixed paste was added into cartridge cases of the used
batteries.
From the four experiments, the most efficient treatment generating electrical
energy showed by the fourth treatment which generated energy scale for 1.5 V and
0.27 A with 50 gr PET plastic, 50 gr carbon of the used battery and 45.2 gr sea
water
