Abstract :
In this sophisticated era, it must be supported with sophisticated equipment as well.
Lecture activities in the classroom need to be supported by practical activities related to
existing theories, in order to make it easier to understand theoretical courses. Thus, many
practicum equipment must be provided in a technical laboratory to support courses aimed at
verification. In addition, practicum is a material for student training to observe existing
problems so that they can be resolved and concluded.
Designing an aircraft speed system requires an MPX5700AP pressure sensor. The
web-controlled monitoring system that is operated by NodeMCU as a microcontroller and in
its connectivity is assisted by wifi. This system is designed to determine the speed of flight
when flying directly which is expected to help in providing information to students regarding
aircraft speed data.
From the results of the aircraft speed monitoring system, the MPX5700AP pressure
sensor is used to detect the speed of an aircraft capable of calculating speeds from 10 Psi to
924 Psi. The error obtained is from 1.1% to 19.1%. This error is a comparison between
MPX5700AP pressure sensor and GPS sensor. GPS sensor as the aircraft speed detector is
only able to detect aircraft speeds from 1.69 Mph to 66.74 Mph. The magnitude of the error
is caused by the difference from the respective sensor units.
