Abstract :
There are many seawater ponds located very close to the sea so that they are used for
ponds, especially milkfish. Because water sources are abundant from the sea, the need
for water for pond farmers in Tlutup Village is not a problem. The weather often rains
and the distance from the house to the pond location is quite far, making it difficult for
cultivators to monitor the water level at the entrance to the milkfish pond. Water level
detection is the basis for cultivators to monitor their ponds and prepare for actions to
be taken. The purpose of this research is to make a water level monitoring device at
the entrance to the milkfish ponds in Tlutup Village, Trangkil District. Starch with the
Internet of Things (IoT), what is obtained is water level data in real time, using
ultrasonic sensors as water level detectors, NodeMCU as a microcontroller and
detected water level data stored in the database, and sending water level notifications
to farmer ponds via telegram bots. Based on the research results, it can be concluded
that a water level detection device at the entrance to the pond with the Internet of
Things (IoT) has been successfully created, and can provide real-time water level
information. However, the data that can be detected is from the Ultrasonic sensor to
the water surface. The results of descriptive statistical calculations obtained an
average water level at the entrance of the milkfish pond of 51.6248 cm
