Abstract :
Decision support systems develop along with technological developments
that support computerization in decision making. Many problems must be decided
by looking at several criteria in decision making, so that what is produced is the
best alternative. The same goes for making investment decisions. The exponential
comparison method is one of the methods that can be used in measuring the
selection of cattle livestock because this method can determine the priority order
of decision alternatives with multiple criteria. This method also has the advantage
of reducing bias that may occur in the analysis.
In testing the functionality of the system, it shows that the system functions
according to design. The calculation test uses the exponential comparison method
(MPE) with the calculation results of the Limousin Cow alternative as rank 1 with
a total final score of 300 and the number of cows obtained is 1 head. By
comparing manual calculations and calculations on the website, it shows that the
calculation results are the same. So it can be concluded that the exponential
comparison method can be applied to decision support system applications to
determine the best type of livestock investment in the Catur Andini Livestock
