Abstract :
Labor burden is one part of the indirect maintenance cost regarding the
actual costs paid by airline companies for technical employees such as aircraft
mechanics and engineers for salaries and in addition to salaries which earned when
carrying out aircraft maintenance in-house. Therefore, calculating labor burden is
very important to estimate the amount of costs that must be incurred by airline
companies in a certain period of time.
In writing this final assignment, the author uses Boeing's Airplane
Maintenance Cost Methodology to find the labor burden in carrying out aircraft
maintenance from Boeing.
The amount of labor burden per hour at the Soekarno-Hatta International
Airport (CGK) line maintenance for mechanics is IDR 109,250.85 per man power
and for engineers is IDR 255,881.50 per man power. The total amount of
mechanical labor burden per month is IDR 1,845,228,468.81. The total amount of
the engineer's labor burden per month is IDR 8,913,459,108.61. The total amount
of labor burden at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) line
maintenance per month is IDR 10,280,937,577.42.
