Abstract :
Kebab Burger 17 is a form of fast food business located in Balong Sari Surabaya, which has a modern outlet concept. Kebab Burger 17 already uses an accounting system in running its business sales process, and this study aims to improve the cash sales accounting system in improving internal control. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method where the data sources are obtained through observations of the transaction process at Kebab Burger 17 and interviews with business owners. The results of the study were the discovery of several weaknesses in the accounting information system owned by Kebab Burger 17, namely, the existence of task traps in the cashier and accounting functions, which resulted in employees at the cashier unable to work optimally because they had to concurrently make sales reports that should be done by accounting.So often make mistakes, be it financial or physical reports.Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that business owners should add employees in the accounting department.
