Abstract :
In every household, there will be quarrels and not infrequently it will leadtodivorce. According to BPS data (2022) Indonesia has a divorce case rate reaching447,743 cases in 2021. One of the causes of quarrels and divorces in domesticlifeis infidelity. Currently, there are many films or series that carry the theme of marriage, one of which is the ?Layangan Putus? series which tells about infidelityin married life. This study aims to analyze the moral message in marriage fromthework of director Benni Setiawan, namely the series "Layangan Putus" whichis anIndonesian series and premiered on November 26, 2021 on the WeTVstreamingplatform. In this research, the researcher uses Burke's (2020) pentad analysisresearch method which consists of five points of analysis, namely act, scene, agent and purpose, using the unit of analysis is in the form of several scenes in this series, as well as using information sources in the form of documentation fromthe series?Layangan Putus?. The results of the study show that the series "Layangan Putus"has a moral message in terms of marriage. This moral message is in the formof mental readiness, mutual respect, responsibility towards marriage obligations, mutual respect and love to form a harmonious household. In addition to havingamoral message about marriage, this series also contains a moral messagetoeveryday life, such as the values of courage, curiosity, honesty, responsibility, independence and hard work.
