Abstract :
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises have a strategic role in national economic development, because apart from playing a role in economic growth and employment, they also play a role in distributing development results. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy and evaluation of competency measurement to increase the potential for human resource development in employees of PT. Kawitan Increasingly Mighty Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach to data collection using a questionnaire. The population of this study are managers and employees of PT. Kawitan Kian Perkasa Surabaya, which has 20 employees. The analytical method used is SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that the analysis of competency measurement strategies to increase the potential for human resource development in employees of PT. Kawitan Kian Perkasa Surabaya shows the company's position at point x is in quadrant I, where PT. Kawitan Kian Perkasa Surabaya in increasing the potential for human resource development in employees who have sufficient strength and to take advantage of available opportunities. Evaluation of competency measurement strategies to increase the potential for human resource development is by providing training, compensation, job assistance and promotion to employees
