Abstract :
The current lighting system is a large use of electricity. With the lights, human activities can last 24 hours. The higher the activity requires lighting, the greater the energy used. Generally lighting settings use the on-off principle where the lights only work on two conditions, namely the lights are full when on or off.
Lighting with the on-off principle is only based on dark and light conditions. This causes less efficient use of electricity. To handle this, a corridor light intensity intensity control system was created by using Ardino Uno. The light will turn on when the surrounding conditions start dark by using the LDR sensor. This system also has a PIR sensor to detect human activity in the corridor. The lights will fade if there are only a few lights
crossing the corridor and it will light up if there are many people passing through the corridor. Thus the light can be obtained as desired.
