Abstract :
On Jalan Raya Dupak there is a crossroads that intersects Jalan Raya Dupak
with Jalan Semarang Surabaya and Jalan Pasar Turi. Not far from the front of the Pusat
Grosir Surabaya (PGS) there is also a level railroad crossing, which is a level crossing
between the railroad track and the road. This resulted in Raya Dupak Surabaya being
the center of vehicle density due to the crossing of the road and also the location of the
vehicle queue when the railroad crossing closes. Based on the Undang-Undang
Republik Indonesia Number 23 Year 2017 article 124 which states "At the intersection
of a parcel between the railroad track and the road, the road user must prioritize train
travel". The closure of the railroad crossing has an impact on the length of the vehicle
queue and delays that result in the consumption of vehicle fuel in stationary conditions
due to the closing of the railroad crossing gate.
This study is to calculate the impact of the duration of the railroad crossing
closing of the railroad crossing on the length of the queue, the delay and fuel
consumption of vehicles on the Raya Dupak Surabaya in a statoner condition. The
method used is the Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI,1997) to analyze the
queue delay and length and fuel consumption using the LAPI-ITB method.
From the calculation results obtained the highest average queue length is 76,54
meters with an average delay of 5,48 minutes. The condition occurs at an average time
duration of 4,41 minutes. This shows that the duration of the closing time will have an
impact on the delay and length of the vehicle queue. The highest average vehicle fuel
consumption is 131,88 cc/smp with an average delay time of 5,48 minutes and the
number of vehicles in the queue an average of 94 smp/hour.
