Program Studi Diploma Tiga Keperawatan Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Duta Bangsa Surakarta 2023 ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN PADA ANAK DOWN SYNDROME DENGAN GANGGUAN TUMBUH KEMBANG KOGNITIF INTERVENSI TERAPI BERMAIN PUZZLE Dika Wigi Safitri Prodi Diploma Tiga Keperawatan, Universitas Duta Bangsa Surakarta Email : dikawigis@gmail.com ABSTRAK Anak Down Syndrome sering kali mengalami gangguan tumbuh kembang seperti kurangnya kemampuan dalam berpikir abstrak. Proses pembelajaran khusunya kognitif, aspek perpikir, memahami, mengenal, menyebutkan, membedakan, menerapkan dalam suatu pembelajaran sangat sulit dilakukan oleh anak Down Syndrome. Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada klien dalam masalah kognitif dengan terapi bermain puzzle. Metode penelitian studi kasus ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa keperawatan, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi dalam penerapan terapi bermain puzzle pada anak Down Syndrome dalam meningkatkan kognitif anak. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa setelah dilakukan tindakan keperawatan 5 kali pertemuan didapatkan tingkat kemampuan kognitif anak teratasi dan mengalami kenaikan berada dalam tingkat berkembang sangat baik Diploma Three Nursing Study Program Faculty of Health Sciences Duta Bangsa University Of Surakarta 2023 NURSING CARE OF DOWN SYNDROME WITH COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT DISORDERS WITH PUZZLE PLAY THERAPY INTERVENTION Dika Wigi Safitri Diploma Three Nursing Study Program, Duta Bangsa University, Surakarta Email : dikawigis@gmail.com ABSTRACT Children with Down syndrome often experience growth and development disorders such as a lack of ability to think abstractly. The learning process, especially cognitive, aspects of thinking, understanding, recognizing, mentioning, distinguishing, applying in learning is very difficult for children with Down syndrome to do. The purpose of this study aims to determine the description of nursing care to clients in cognitive problems with playing puzzle therapy. This case study research method uses a descriptive method with a nursing care approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in the application of puzzle play therapy to children with Down syndrome in improving children's cognitive. The results of the study showed that after 5 nursing actions were carried out, the level of cognitive abilities of children was resolved and increased to a very good level of development.
