ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF THE CONTENT OF HEAVY METALS PB, CD, AND HG ON DRINKING WATER REFILL AT DEPOTMENT OF DRINKING WATER (DAM) IN TANGEN DISTRICT USING ATOM ABSORPTION SPECTROSCOPE Qoonitaatun Nur Hidayah Refill drinking water depot is a business entity engaged in the management of drinking water to meet community needs. Not all depots are managed properly, especially regarding the quality of drinking water that is safe for health. The purpose of this study was to determine the content of heavy metals and concentration of Pb, Cd, and Hg as well as to determine the quality of refill drinking water obtained from refill drinking water depots located in Tangen District based on PERMENKES Number 492/MENKES/Per/IV /2010. The method used for sample analysis is atomic absorption spectroscopy. The parameters of this research are physical parameters which include: smell, taste, and temperature. Meanwhile, the chemical parameters are pH, metal Pb, Cd, and Hg. Refill drinking water is obtained from three places in Tangen District (Location I, II, and III). The results showed that the physical and chemical parameters in the form of pH met the standards for the three locations. Pb parameter that exceeds the standard of drinking water quality originating from locations I, II, and III were 0,35 mg/L; 0,17 mg/L; and 0,05 mg/L respectively. Cd parameter has met drinking water quality standards. Hg parameter obtained from location I exceeds the standard with the value of 0,0024 mg/L and for locations II and III have met drinking water quality standards based on PERMENKES Number 492/MENKES/Per/IV /2010.
