Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of job stress and job satisfaction on the turnover intention of Generation Y employees in the city of Palembang. The data used is primary data. The population in this study was 782,729 generation Y employees in the city of Palembang (Palembang Central Agency for Employment Statistics in 2022). The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and the samples obtained were 155 respondents. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that work stress has a positive and significant effect on the turnover intention of generation Y employees in the city of Palembang, and job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect on the turnover intention of generation Y employees in the city of Palembang.
