Abstract :
This gender equality trend has become a hot topic and public attention to be discussed and debated on various social media and forums such as YouTube, Twitter and Quora. An interesting thing to talk about is the distortion of gender equality thinking. Some people think gender equality means that other genders can hit the opposing gender. Indonesia is a country that is quite concerned with gender equality. This study aims to determine the relationship between androgynous personality tendencies with attitudes towards gender equality and self-acceptance. This research method uses nonparametrics. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling method and the sample used was as many as 249 respondents. The data analysis techniques used are validity tests, reliability tests and nonprametric statistics. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between androgynous personality tendencies and gender equality attitudes does not have a significant effect with a coefficient value of 0.942 (p> 0.05) and the relationship between androgynous personality tendencies does not have a significant effect with a coefficient value of 0.663 (p> 0.05).
