Abstract :
DIFFERENCES IN GUIDED DISCOVERY LEARNING MODEL AND GUIDED DISCOVERY MODEL ON COGNITIVE MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES AT SD XAVERIUS 4 PALEMBANG Guided discovery and guided discovery learning models make students more active and find something during learning in class.This study aims to find out how the differences in guided discovery learning models and guided discovery models affect cognitive mathematics learning outcomes.This type of research is a quantitative research experimental method. The sample in this study were VA and VB classes at SD Xaverius 4 Palembang totaling 54 people through simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used in research are interviews, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, data normality test, homogeneity test, and independent sample t-test. The results showed that there were differences in cognitive learning outcomes using the guided discovery learning model and the guided discovery model on the cognitive learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Xaverius 4 Palembang. The results of this study can be used in the world of education in terms of using learning models during the learning process of mathematics.
