Abstract :
Background: Every woman will experience a menopausal phase that can cause various symptoms so it is very important to have enough knowledge so that there is no anxiety in facing menopause. Because if anxiety continues to be allowed to increase to the highest level, namely panic which can lead to personality disorganization and life threatening Objective : To analyze the relationship of the level of knowledge with the level of anxiety in the face of menopause in premenopausal women Methods : This study used quantitative methods using correlational descriptive design and cross-sectional approach with a population of 122 people using purposive sampling with a sample size of 92 respondents and research analysis using the Kendall Tau test. Result: The results of the study found that the average age of premenopausal women in this study was 44.96 years, most premenopausal women with a high school education were 45 respondents (48.9%). The level of knowledge of premenopausal women is the most in the less category, namely 64 respondents (69.5%). The highest level of anxiety for premenopausal women was moderate anxiety, which was 37 respondents (40.2%) and obtained a p value of 0.009 Conclusion: There was a weak negative association between knowledge level and anxiety level in dealing with menopause in premenopausal women (p value = 0,009; r = - 0,252) Suggestion: expected to work with Puskesmas to plan health education activities for premenopausal women
