Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and liquidity on financial distress with a focus on food and beverage subsector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a research period of 2018-2022. The data used is secondary data. The population in this study are food and beverage subsector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling method and 22 companies were obtained with a total of 110 samples. Hypothesis testing is carried out using multiple regression analysis. The results of this research show that profitability and liquidity have a positive effect on financial distress.
