Abstract :
This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity ratios and good corporate governance (GCG) as measured using institutional ownership on the financial performance of insurance companies listed on the IDX for 2018-2022. The data used in this research is secondary data. The population in this research is insurance companies listed on the IDX. The sampling technique used in this research was a purposive sampling technique so that the results obtained were 81 samples obtained from 18 insurance companies registered on the IDX for 2018-2022. Hypothesis testing in this research was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis. The results obtained in this research show that liquidity ratios have a negative effect on financial performance, and good corporate governance (GCG) as measured using institutional ownership has a negative effect on financial performance.
