Abstract :
Lately the use of trail bikes is in great demand in Indonesia. Most trail bikes do not have a middle standard because it will affect maneuverability and acceleration. Therefore, the use of Jack Stand trail serves as a substitute for the center standard. Jack stands on the market today have weaknesses, including that they cannot be used on dirt terrain, the price is expensive, and it is difficult to carry around because they are too heavy. Based on these problems, the researchers designed a jack stand that can make it easier for users through the 7-step Nigel Cross approach. Through the goal tree, function analysis method and Black Box principle, it is determined that the body frame components can withstand the weight of the motorbike, plus anti-slip rubber to keep the motorbike from falling. After the process of determining the needs, determining the characteristics is done by the QFD method. Of the 3 alternatives proposed by the designer, the alternative chosen was made of iron, multiuse, easily available materials, with dimensions of 37 x 35 x 40 cm, weight of 5 kg and capacity of 117 kg. Value engineering methods are used to determine the cost of manufacturing a product, and increase the product's value to the user. Products that have been designed have been tested and proven to have good performance in two different fields
