Abstract :
In Palembang, the existence of Natural Park is only recorded in one area, named Punti Kayu Natural Park. Punti Kayu Natural Park is a kind of forest park which has been built since many years ago. Punti Kayu Natural Park was not designed to maximize its capability, not many variety of facilities, and the lacks of maintenance caused the number of Punti Kayu Natural Park?s visitors to decline over the years. By designing Punti Kayu Forest Adventure Park in Punti Kayu Natural Park area, it?s expected to reintroduce a new destination of natural tourism for Palembang?s residents. By utilizing Pine Forest, located in Punti Kayu, the design will focus on the presentation of open spaces and facilities such as outbound, assault course, rope course, wall climbing, paintball, ATV, hostelry such as cottages, and also recreational facilities such as horse riding, water park and animals park. Open spaces and the facilities will be excellently designed with ?Forest Adventure? theme.
