ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counting funnel media on
the knowledge aspects of grade 1 students at SD Negeri 44 Palembang. The
research method used is experimental, Desain True-Eperimental. The research
sample was taken using sampling techniques, Posttest Only Control Design. The
sample obtained was the first class 1B students as the 1D class control class as
the experimental class. After the learning process was carried out on the subject
of addition and subtraction, both in the experimental class using numerical funnel
media, and the control class that used the lecture method, question and answer,
assignment. The results of the experimental class 78.8 and the control class 67.2
were obtained. With the reliability test and the f test, it is known that the
knowledge aspect data in the experimental class and the control class are
normally distributed and homogeneous. After that the hypothesis was tested with a
variant t-test, obtained by tcount of 11.43 and t table of 2.021 with an error rate
of 5%. So that it is located in the rejection area of Ho and receiver Ha. So there is
the effect of counting funnel media on the knowledge aspect of grade 1 students at
SD Negeri 44 Palemabang.
